The Elite: Oregon vs. Oklahoma

#1 Oregon vs. #2 Oklahoma. The Ducks are here after just pounding Duke into the ground. Perhaps it was a bit much to hit the 3 as the shot clock wound down at the end, but Dillon Brooks was just listening to Dana Altman and it shouldn’t be that big of a deal.

Anyways, they’ve got a different beast on their hands and more than just star Buddy Hield to deal with. Jordan Woodard had a great game and Isaiah Cousins distributed the ball well. If the Sooners are going to score with the kind of efficiency that they were able to in the Sweet 16, then it’s going to be tough for Oregon.

Then again, their team-first mentality has lead to a balanced attack and a surprising amount of depth off the bench. While the Ducks will likely dole out responsibilities amongst a few various guys, Hield will again be the guy that needs to influence his teammates’ with his play. If Buddy Hield has another nice then, look for his team to come away with this one. Oklahoma 74, Oregon 70.
