While the Big East ain’t what it used to be, it still has some legitimate top tier talent. Villanova has struggled with some injuries and a game against Oklahoma, but not much else. Xavier has been as good as usual and it’s no surprise.
Teams like Butler have had their moments but just haven’t been consistent enough. Georgetown is another one of those teams that has the talent to make moves but if they can’t do much against this leve lof competition then they’ve got probs.
Providence has two big-time talents in Kris Dunn and Ben Bentil. They’ve gotten some help from the rest of the team, too. They just aren’t that great to begin with, unfortunately. Marquette, Seton Hall, and Creighton have all had their moments in the sun, but they would likely be cellar dwellers in some of the deeper conferences in America.
